The sealed touch-pad control buttons are single function and grouped for ease of use. The solid state circuitry gives you the features you expect: Cone Fire or Ramp/Hold modes. Digital readout, Delay start, Adjustable temperature alarm and a cone table. Failure detection circuitry can detect component failure and shut off the kiln to avoid damage or loss of ware. The larger models come with the new "lid lifter", you can litterly raise and lower the kiln lid with two fingers. Comes with a two year limited warranty. PLEASE NOTE: The KS series is temporarily unavailable from the manufacturer.
Especially well finished kilns with a heavy duty latch and hinge system. Side latches to hold sections together is a Skutt exclusive. Double peephole plugs in each section make it easier to place cones. The information below represents the most requested information. Standard Features:

-Most kilns are UL listed.
-Multi-sided design eliminates hot spots and all are covered with a stainless steel jacket.
-Available in 208 or 240 volt for the same price.
-Dawson Kiln Sitter is standard Equipment
-Sealed dust free lid with full floating hinge.
-Air cooled switch box, louver to keep out dust.
-Two year limited warranty.
-Two-way left-handed back scratchier (an to think at no additional charge, wow!)

Prices are based on when we order 4 or more kilns, Skutt pays the freight, otherwise freight charges will apply.
